'Open UP!'

Psalm 24:7-10 NLT
Open up, ancient gates!
Open up, ancient doors,
and let the King of glory enter.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord, invincible in battle.
OPEN UP, ancient gates!
OPEN UP, ancient doors,
and LET the King of glory enter!
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—HE is the King of glory!
Heavenly Father—“the King of glory”...
I ask this morning for Your mighty indwelling Spirit to “OPEN UP” the gates of our hearts and minds—1) so we Believers are increasingly transformed by Your Word, 2) so we allow Your Spirit to change us, guide us, give us wisdom, and flood us with peace and love, 3) so we become more and more like Your Son in the way we think, say, and do, and 3) so we trust You as we face our difficult situations (You are “invincible”, “strong and mighty!” You are with us! You enable us! You will make a way!)!
Moreover, as we pray for the lost You have placed in our paths...”OPEN UP” their hearts and minds so they can see their need for You, Father! Use Your Spirit to draw them to Yourself—so they long for the Savior, and so they long for a personal relationship with You!
Finally Father, as we go to the places we need to go today (work, school, errands...), we ask that You “OPEN UP” opportunities for us to tell others about You! Yes Lord: “OPEN UP” opportunities for us to share Your love and forgiveness (and help us recognize these opportunities!)!
We ask all this in the Son's name, that the “King of glory” may increasingly “enter!”  We ask this for the furthering of Your Kingdom in us, in others, in our situations...for Your Glory!
